Market hours
Trading in the share segment takes place every day of the week (except Saturdays, Sundays
and holidays declared in advance by the Stock Exchange). The market hours for the equity
segment are as follows:
A) Pre-opening session
Entry and modification of orders Open: 09:00.
Entry and modification of orders Closing: 09:08**
* with random closing at the last minute. Pre-open order matching begins immediately after pre-open order entry closes.
B) Regular trading session
Normal/limited physical market opening: 09:15.
Closing of normal/restricted physical market: 15:30.
C) Closing session
The closing session is from 15:40 to 16:00.
D) Block trading session times:
Morning period: This period will operate from 08:45 to 09:00.
Afternoon period: This period will operate between 14:05 and 14:20. It is noted:
The exchange may close the market on days other than the holidays mentioned above or open
the market on days initially declared public holidays. The Stock Exchange may also extend,
advance or reduce trading hours when it deems appropriate and necessary.
* Muhurat Trading will be on Friday 1 November 2024. Muhurat Trading Timings will be announced later.
